About Us

At Charlie's Tackle Company, our fishing lures
have been refined over time from prototypes that
we developed. Our seventeen years of fishing and
guiding experience has taught us that it's not
always the biggest or fanciest lure that does the
trick. Simply put, fish are attracted to lures that
resemble what the fish eat on a daily basis.
Based on this fact, we developed our own lures
to present a very attractive target. In time, anglers
began asking for our home crafted lures. Now
these are available, but you won't find them in
any stores. Order now by phone/mail, or online
and if you love catching fish as much as we do,
you will certainly enjoy the action of our lures.

Catching fish on a consistent basis is like
anything else that is done successfully. The
amount of work and thought put into fishing
directly relates to what the angler catches. Ask
any pro fisherman how he or she caught their
tourney winning catch and they will tell you the lure they used and possibly where they
were fishing, what you won’t hear is how they found the spots to catch the fish that won
the tournament. You won't hear the reasons why they used the lures they did or why
they fished the spots they did. All of this goes into the making of a successful fishing
trip.

You don’t have to be as serious about fishing as a professional angler, but if you want
to have fun and catch fish you will have to put a little thought into why you fish the
places you do. Study lake or stream maps, find the deep spots next to shallow areas.
Find the deep water bends in creeks, look for areas that have weeds or lily pads. Seek
out the areas that have rocky bottoms. All of the above will hold fish concentrations.
Don’t just fish.
